Beauty cannot exist without a healthy posture.
“My mission is to help you feel again how wonderful it is to be in your body.”
The body is a complex and interconnected system, which constantly communicates with itself internally and with its environment externally. There is an anatomically highly efficient human shape that can eliminate the constant struggle against gravity.
When various impacts make our posture move away from this ideal state, our body starts to become heavier, our quality of movement deteriorates, self-healing processes slow down or are even fully blocked, and aging is accelerated.
The condition of our teeth and gums affect the balance of our entire body, including our posture and our emotional status. The reverse is also true: tissue tension (especially around the head, the neck, and the jaw) or a stress-riddled mental state may negatively affect dental health or the permanence of aesthetic treatments, even with the use of orthodontics or prostethics.
Dr Iván Szilágyi has recognised this interconnectedness, and this is why he added manual therapists and movement specialists to his team. As an expert of improving posture and movement, I can help patients improve their life quality and teach them to use their body more efficiently, thus supporting self-healing abilities and increasing performance.
Throughout my professional journey, I have been researching the complex connections between high performance, health, and movement:
Sports background: As a track&field athlete for the Hungarian national team (400m hurdles, junior and adult world championships), my career was ended by a chronic injury. This was the experience that turned me towards examining healing, rehabilitation, and the optimal movement.
Missing knowledge: As there is no course available for this complex science, I had to research the relevant Eastern massage techniques, internal martial arts, and the training courses to complement modern Western methodology.
System approach: My engineering degree from the University of Technology and my job as a software developer have given me a system approach that I can equally adopt in my work with the human body.
